CANBERRA CHURCH PLANTING NETWORK CONFERENCE 2020

Identifying and Growing Church Planters

What characteristics mark out a church-planter? How can we identify if I am I or someone at my church is a potential church planter? Join us to hear from Mark Glenn, from Acts29's Assessment Process. He'll also open up on his own church planting story, with its ups and downs and the assessment process.

MARK GLENN

Our Guest Speaker

Mark has been married to Katherine for the entirety of this century and have three children. God made it clear to the Glenn’s that he wanted them to plant a church in the Highlands while spending three months as part of The Fields in Carlsbad, CA. With the blessing of The Fields Church Carlsbad and its elders the Glenn’s returned home and The Fields Church - Australia started in their living room during March 2011.
Mark balances his responsibilities at The Fields alongside running his own building design business, serving as the Assessment Co-ordinator for Acts 29 in Australia & New Zealand also serving on the leadership on the Rural Collective.

JONATHAN HOLT

Founder and Network Leader

Jonathan Holt is the Senior Minister at Lanyon Valley Anglican Church. Since planting this church in 2006, he has overseen the planing of a second congregation and also another new church. He is persuaded that our city will be best served by the gospel of Jesus through planting more churches. That is hard to do alone, and no one church will cover our whole city. But together, with God's Spirit to unify us, we could see a city transformed through churches planted and lives changed.

TIM PURSER

MC

Tim Purser is the Associate Pastor at Good Shepherd Anglican Church. He is passionate about seeing people come to know, love and live for Jesus. He's married to Elaine and has two beautiful young daughters, Anita and Lena.

WHAT IS THE CANBERRA CHURCH PLANTING NETWORK?

Growing Gospel-Trust, so that Healthy Churches can plant new Churches.

The Canberra Church Planting Network is a city-wide, non-denominational network of Christian pastors and leaders who desire God's glory to be made manifest in the growth and strength of His church in the city of Canberra. Our Network is for anyone interested in how churches can grow into healthy, multiplying and planting communities. We aim to stay connected throughout the year, but focus our attention on an annual conference.
